Artists of the Okanagan and Shuswap—it’s that time of year again!
We’re thrilled to announce the 34th Annual Ribbon Show, and we want you to be a part of it! Whether you’re just starting your artistic journey or you’ve been creating for decades, this is a joyful, community-rooted opportunity to show your work in a professional gallery setting—and connect with art lovers from across the region.
Categories for 2025
- Photography
- Representational / Figurative
- Semi-Figurative / Semi-Abstract
- Abstract / Non-Figurative
- 3D Works (Sculpture, Fibre, Assemblage, etc.)
- Youth (Aged 14–18 years)
Why Enter the Ribbon Show?
- Professional Adjudication: Qualified local artists will adjudicate each category, awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons.
- Optional Feedback: You can request feedback to help grow your artistic skills—it’s thoughtful, specific, and designed to help you take your work to the next level.
- People’s Choice Awards: After judging wraps up, the public will vote on their overall favorites—adding a fun and heartfelt community perspective.
- Accessible & Inclusive: Whether you have a single piece or a small series, this is a perfect way to exhibit in a welcoming, professional environment.
How to Submit Your Work
- Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis, up until the Art Drop date: June 24, 2025
- Please notify us of your intent to register by June 17, 2025
- Each artist may submit one piece per category
- Entry fees: $7 per piece ($5 for ASMAS members)
