Artists of the Okanagan and Shuswap—it’s that time of year again!

We’re thrilled to announce the 34th Annual Ribbon Show, and we want you to be a part of it! Whether you’re just starting your artistic journey or you’ve been creating for decades, this is a joyful, community-rooted opportunity to show your work in a professional gallery setting—and connect with art lovers from across the region.


🎨 Categories for 2025

  • Photography
  • Representational / Figurative
  • Semi-Figurative / Semi-Abstract
  • Abstract / Non-Figurative
  • 3D Works (Sculpture, Fibre, Assemblage, etc.)
  • Youth (Aged 14–18 years)

✨ Why Enter the Ribbon Show?

  • Professional Adjudication: Qualified local artists will adjudicate each category, awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons.
  • Optional Feedback: You can request feedback to help grow your artistic skills—it’s thoughtful, specific, and designed to help you take your work to the next level.
  • People’s Choice Awards: After judging wraps up, the public will vote on their overall favorites—adding a fun and heartfelt community perspective.
  • Accessible & Inclusive: Whether you have a single piece or a small series, this is a perfect way to exhibit in a welcoming, professional environment.

📌 How to Submit Your Work

  • Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis, up until the Art Drop date: June 24, 2025
  • Please notify us of your intent to register by June 17, 2025
  • Each artist may submit one piece per category
  • Entry fees: $7 per piece ($5 for ASMAS members)
